This lesson is basically a reference of a bunch of different formula's. I'll also provide a great scale finder for you! Bookmark (CTRL - D) this page and use it as a reference chart when writing and playing guitar.

To complete full chords you've just got to keep plugging in notes. Obviously some of the above formula's have more than three notes. If you like triads for now, just pick three, usually the first three notes as shown in the formula. They may be the same as some other chords but will flow and fit with that key and sound when played over a song's chord progression.
